Welcome

The Cambridge University African and Caribbean Alumni (CUACA) Society builds upon the long established Cambridge tradition of networking and partnership, fostered and endorsed by the University's Alumni Relations Office. (CARO).

Having existed informally in various forms since 2002, self-organisation and formalisation occured in 2009, when the Society became officially recognised by the University.

With over 200 Alumni Societies categorised by region, country, college or course of study; CUACA is one of the first Cambridge societies to be founded on shared culture and experiences.

Although its members are geographically dispersed; and range in diversity from Black British & immigrant (African & Caribbean) communities in the UK, and CARICOM nationals in the Caribbean, to citizens (resident and abroad) of Africa and the Americas - they all share a common economic and educational vision combined with deep-seated connections in art, music and history.

We are delighted to welcome you to our Society, our website and our Facebook community and hope that you will join with us in strengthening the Alumni network and supporting the students who follow in our (educational) footsteps.
